Breathe!

When you are anxious, you limit your breathing.  Confining your breaths to your chest instead of using your diaphragm will increase anxiety.  And so the cycle of fight or flight continues until adrenaline and stress hormones wear out your parasympathetic nervous system.  A busy or tired parasympathetic nervous system means less control over rest, digestion and relaxed muscles.  So, remember to breathe and breathe deeply.
